Ladies and gentlemen, it is a great honor for us to introduce a high-octane collaboration between AudioPorn Central and one of the most interesting labels on the sizzling disco and nu-disco scene: MB Disco.

All week we’ll be focusing on the brand new release from MB Disco – the legendary Giorgio Moroder’s classical and seminal Italo-Synth Disco tune E=MC2. MB Disco pays tribute to the godfather of disco by inviting some of the most influential names from the early 80s Italo-Electronic scene, includingAlexander Robotnick, of Problèmes d’Amour fame and Daniele Baldelli, one of the founding fathers of the Cosmic Disco scene in Italy.

Naturally, we got a few exclusives to share with you this week – and some really exiting news as well. We’ll also be giving away 5 of the Italian Connection release on double vinyl 12″ and many other things. So make sure you visit us every day.

The best orchestra in the world quite fancy my new single, "Disco Thang". Apart from including it in a couple of their special dj mixes, they're treating it to some decent lovebombing as well

Says Gary of the Drop Out Orchestra in an online interview: "My favourite track right now is a slow mo synth bopper by Copycat called "Disco Thang". He is from Sweden like us, and definitely one to watch. If the guy in charge of the soundtrack to Drive would have heard the song it would have been in the film, definitely, it's exactly that vibe."

"Our Swedish feline friend, Copycat, has just uploaded this lovely, floating nudisco track. It's part Moroder, part Cafe Del Mar, all disco.

The Swedish disco production scene has been slowly rising out from under the shadow of their more well known contemporaries in Norway, with producers like Martin Brodin and Drop Out Orchestra leading the way. Copycat's Disco Thang comes in a lower end of the BPM range, with a slow, steady appegiated synth layered over the kick providing the basis for the track. The keys on the track stand out especially, being quite delicate though still rising through the mix. Though this track will not be a dancefloor bomb, it's a good, chilled out Balearic number."

Bergman Copycat - Sometimes

Very excited to present my latest project, a co-lab with the immensely talented Bergman, former lead singer of Swedish pop sensation Scents. Back in the days, those guys were predicted to be bigger than the mighty Cardigans.

These days, Bergman lives and works in London, and focuses on some lovely singer/songwriting on his own. I managed to persuade him to step into the world of epic electro disco for a while. Here's the result. An original and a joint venture - a bit of laidback epic electro disco for those warm and lovely summer nights.

This track is currently only available as an exclusive download /stream over at AudioPorn Central, where it also premieres. There's also a special... erm... Trance Folk version of it over there - the mighty "Sunset Version". Let me know what you think.

Ok, so here it is. A first little sneak preview of my joint venture with the lovely and very talented ms Josephine from Hollywood.

We hooked up a while ago on the interwebs and I had a listen to her tunes and was immediately hooked. So I suggested we do something together - and here's the result:

"The Darkest Side of Me" is a dreamy and ethereal little piece of music with lovely vocals from Josephine paired with your usual throbbing epic electro disco by yours truly.

This is getting an official release eventually, but meanwhile we're happy to offer a free download. Obviously, we're extremely thankful for any help in promoting our little baby.

Veronica Maggio is a Swedish singer with Italian origin. She became a household name in Sweden immediately after releasing her first single, "Dumpa mig" (Dump me), which was a huge hit in Sweden, with ample airplay.

A subsequent follow-up single, a major contract, a debut album and a national tour later, she was awarded the "Newcomer of the year"prize in the Swedish Grammy Awards.

The original version of "Jag Kommer" is a bit more, erm... modest, its raunchy lyrics notwithstanding ("Jag kommer" means "I'm coming"...).

Given the initial reaction to the original, it’s possible that Robyn’s current single will end up having a considerably more robust life in the unauthorized wilds of the web. First there was DJ Schmolli’s amusing AC/DC mash-up. Now comes this beautifully realized remix, whose sound is perfectly captured by the song’s parenthetical subtitle. While the “FM” might refer to the radio, it could just as easily be a reference to Fleetwood Mac, whose mid-’70s heyday this overhaul so expertly evokes.

Swedish Boot Mafia consists of Copycat, Divide & Kreate, and Nachoman, and is our little side project for playing around with all things Swedish - and more.

Here's the third installment in our Swedish Boot Mafia series.

The third artist to get the Swedish Boot Mafia treatment is Veronica Maggio.

Veronica Maggio is a Swedish singer with Italian origin. She became a household name in Sweden immediately after releasing her first single, "Dumpa mig" (Dump me), which was a huge hit in Sweden, with ample airplay.

A subsequent follow-up single, a major contract, a debut album and a national tour later, she was awarded the "Newcomer of the year" prize in the Swedish Grammy Awards.

"Måndagsbarn" (Monday child) was the first single from her 2nd album and it came out in 2008. It was popular in Scandinavia, but The Swedish Boot Mafia felt that we should give it a little give it a little make-over - and present it to the world anew.

The second artist to get the Swedish Boot Mafia treatment is Erik Hassle. Here's my take of the second installment in our Swedish Boot Mafia series.

Erik Hassle popped up from nowhere, laying his hands on the runner-up position in the Metro Music Challenge in 2008. That rendered him a deal with Roxy Recordings, which subsequently was transformed into an international deal with Island Records and Universal Republic. His "Hurtful" gained him a lot of fans immediately. And after the Guardian hyped him - well, the rest is kinda history.

In February 2010, "Hurtful" was re-released in a slightly altered version worldwide, including the UK. The Swedish Boot Mafia still wasn't too happy with it and decided to give it the onceover.

Here's the first installment in our Swedish Boot Mafia series.

Swedish Boot Mafia consists of Copycat, Divide & Kreate, and Nachoman, and is our little side project for playing around with all things Swedish - and more.

The first artist to get the Swedish Boot Mafia treatment is Sophia Somajo.

Sophia Somajo may very well champion Robyn for the title as Sweden's hottest electro soul/R&B star. Not only does she produce oustanding music herself; she writes stuff for other artists as well and has collaborated with Adam Tensta, Vincent and Juvelen just to name a few.

I Was Made for a Heavy Cross [Kiss vs Gossip]

One of my absolute fave tracks of last year - one of my fave albums in fact - was Gossip's killer tune "Heavy cross" and their album "Music for Men". I'm crazy in love with Beth Ditto's passion, voice and attitude. And I just couldn't get enough of that track. In fact, I kinda OD:d on it, not to mention all the remixes... So when Culture Bully asked me to do a mash-up for their "Mashed 2009", my mind was pretty set from the start.

There's always been something about Gossip reminding me of Kiss, especially Kiss' classic "I was made for lovin' you". It seems as if all her life - in a wide number of tracks - Beth Ditto wanted to re-create that very track, groove and feel. On their latest album, she even rather unashamedly nicked the entire chorus as well (in the track "2012"). So I thought I'd help her out...

Copycat on Culture Bully's Mashed 2009

Following the success of last year's Mashed 2008, Culture Bully once again presents some of the best tunes from the year before in slightly appropriated versions.

Happy to say I got an invite this year as well. Even more happy to say I was commissioned to do the artwork. Not only for the Mashed 2009 album, but for all the year, decade and whatnot lists/charts etc. for 2009.

What's that? My remix? Oh, yes... sorry... I went for a combo of Gossip's "Heavy Cross" and Kiss' classic "I was made for loving you".
