Copycat vs Nachoman "Bucovina's Dark Gold"

Here's the result of a quite intense game of ping-pong. It all started when my very good friend Nachoman played the Deadmau5 remix of Kamisshakes's "Dark Beat" for me. I thought it sounded like Ian Brown of the Stone Roses on vocal - so we just had to try to drop some Stone Roses over it. We chose "Fools gold" and immediately started to feel something.
A couple of hours later, stuck in the mix, I tried the Ian Oliver remix of Shantel's version of "Bucovina" on top of it all - a Balkan song made famous by the Boban Markovic Orkestar a couple of years back - which at the moment was starting to cook in clubs all over Europe. All of a sudden we were in business... A very dark and clubby business, to be precise.
After a few days, Nachoman came back with a splendid idea. He'd tried to merge the lot with Beats International's "Blame it on the bassline". It sounded like a bonkers 90s tribute - and once I heard that, there was no turning back.
Here's "Bucovina's Dark Gold" - in two versions - a bonkers Balkan beatbox bomb that we think will do the trick on any slow dance floor. And a tune we hope you'll love as much as we do. Party on, Wayne!
